Phylloscopus proregulus
The Yellow-browed Warbler is a small, insectivorous bird known for its distinctive yellow eyebrow stripe and olive-green upperparts. It has a high-pitched, sibilant song and is known for its acrobatic foraging behavior, often flitting through the foliage in search of insects. This species breeds in the taiga and coniferous forests of northern Asia and migrates to Southeast Asia and India for the winter. It is a long-distance migrant, often traveling thousands of kilometers. Despite its small size, the Yellow-browed Warbler is a resilient and adaptable species, able to thrive in a variety of forested habitats.
