Yellow Bunting, Emberiza sulphurata, is a bunting of eastern Asia in the family Emberizidae. It breeds in montane forest edge in central and northern Honshu in Japan, and in the non-breeding season it moves to scrub and fields in south-east China, Taiwan and mainly northern Philippines. It is an uncommon breeder in Japan and a scarce migrant elsewhere. It is also known as Japanese Yellow Bunting. The species was described by Temminck and Schlegel in 1848.
