Aplonis mystacea (Ogilvie-Grant, 1911)
Yellow-eyed Starling, Aplonis mystacea, is a starling of the family Sturnidae found in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, with breeding in southern New Guinea except the Trans-Fly. It lives in subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. Its yellow eye is the feature that gives the bird its English name. It was described by Ogilvie-Grant in 1911.
