These parakeets are known for their playful and social nature, often forming flocks and engaging in acrobatic flight displays. They are primarily herbivorous, feeding on seeds, fruits, and vegetation. The Yellow-fronted Parakeet is a cavity nester, utilizing tree hollows for nesting. Due to habitat loss and predation, their populations are declining in the wild.
