Yellow-legged Tinamou

Crypturellus noctivagus (Wied-Neuwied, M, 1820)

Yellow-legged Tinamou, Crypturellus noctivagus, is a tinamou of eastern Brazil. It is associated with wooded and shrubby places in tropical and subtropical areas, and its preferred setting is humid forest. The species has two subspecies, with zabele also using drier woodland, including savanna-woodland and Caatinga. It is a ground-nesting bird, with the male incubating eggs from several females and caring for the young until they are independent. The breeding range given by IOC is e Brazil.
