Yellow-necked Spurfowl

The Yellow-necked Spurfowl, also known as the Yellow-necked Francolin, is a bird species found in eastern Africa. It is a medium-sized bird with a distinctive yellow patch on its neck and a mottled brown plumage. These birds are often found in savannas and open woodlands, where they forage for seeds, fruits, and insects on the ground. They are known for their loud, cackling calls and are often seen in small groups or pairs. The Yellow-necked Spurfowl is not currently considered to be at risk, with stable populations across its range.
