They are highly social birds and are often found in small flocks, emitting loud calls as they forage for food. Their diet primarily consists of fruits, seeds, and nuts. Unfortunately, the Yellow-shouldered Amazon is facing threats from habitat loss and illegal trapping for the pet trade, leading to a decline in their population.
