Yellow-shouldered Grassquit, Loxipasser anoxanthus, is a bird of Jamaica in the tanager family Thraupidae. It breeds in the island’s moist lowland forest, moist montane forest, and in heavily altered former forest. It is the only species placed in the genus Loxipasser. First described by Gosse in 1847, it was originally named the Yellow-back finch. The species is monotypic, with no recognised subspecies. It is endemic to Jamaica and belongs to Passeriformes.
