Yellow-spotted Barbet, Buccanodon duchaillui, is an African barbet in the family Lybiidae and the order Piciformes, breeding from Sierra Leone east to Uganda, western Kenya, north-western Tanzania and central Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is the only species in the genus Buccanodon. The western form was separated on the basis of its song, while the eastern form is also distinguished by its own vocal pattern. The species was described by Cassin in 1855.
