Yellow-streaked Lory, Chalcopsitta scintillata, is a parrot in the Psittaculidae family that breeds in southern New Guinea and its satellites. It is also recorded from the Aru Islands. The species was described by Temminck in 1835. Three subspecies are recognised: Chalcopsitta scintillata chloroptera, Chalcopsitta scintillata rubrifrons, and the nominate Chalcopsitta scintillata scintillata. Its range places it in Australasia, and its known habitat includes moist lowland forest and mangrove forest in tropical and subtropical areas.
