Yellow-throated Antwren, Myrmotherula ambigua, is a passerine of the antbird family in north-central Amazonia, where it occurs in Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela. It lives in the subcanopy and canopy of lowland evergreen forest, especially on white sand and mixed soils, and is usually found below 350 m, though in Colombia it is recorded only to 200 m and on tepuis it can reach about 1,100 m. It is a small bird with a short tail, and males show a light yellow patch between the shoulders.
