Yellow-throated Bulbul

Randia pseudozosterops

The Yellow-throated Bulbul (Randia pseudozosterops) is a small passerine bird found in the forests and woodlands of Southeast Asia. It is characterized by its olive-green upperparts, bright yellow throat, and grayish underparts. This species is known for its melodious and varied songs, often heard in the early morning and late afternoon. Yellow-throated Bulbuls are primarily insectivorous, foraging for insects, fruits, and nectar in the forest canopy. They are often seen in small groups or pairs, and are known for their acrobatic flight and agile movements among the foliage. Despite facing habitat loss and fragmentation, the Yellow-throated Bulbul is still relatively common in its range.
