Yellow-throated Nicator, Nicator vireo, is a songbird in the family Nicatoridae and breeds in Africa from Cameroon to north-eastern DR Congo and south to northern Angola. It was described by Cabanis in 1876. It belongs to the order Passeriformes. Its range also includes Angola, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, the Republic of the Congo, the DRC, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and Uganda. It is associated with subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
