Yellow-throated Woodland Warbler Phylloscopus ruficapilla is a leaf warbler found in eastern and southern Africa. It is restricted to the Afromontane region, ranging from Kenya to South Africa. Its breeding range lies in Africa, in the east and south of the continent. It occurs in subtropical or tropical dry forest and in subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest. The species was described by Sundevall in 1850.
