Yellow-winged Vireo, Vireo carmioli, is a passerine of the family Vireonidae that breeds in Costa Rica and western Panama. It was first described in 1866 by Baird, SF. It lives in humid evergreen forest in upper subtropical and temperate zones, from the Cordillera Central and Dota Mountains in Costa Rica through the Cordillera de Talamanca into Chiriquí Province. It is the only vireo in Costa Rica with yellow wing bars and yellow underparts. The species is monotypic.
