Yellowish Pipit, Anthus chii, is a passerine in the Motacillidae family and occurs widely across South America, with an additional presence in Panama. It is a bird of open country, using grassland, pasture, farmland and cerrado, and it often keeps to short grass and places close to water such as lakes and rivers. The species is a year-round resident. It is one of the smallest Anthus pipits, with a long-legged, short-tailed build, and the sexes look alike. Its breeding range includes Panama and most mainland South American countries.
