Yungas Pygmy Owl, Glaucidium bolivianum, is an owl of the Strigidae family that breeds in South America from Peru to north-west Argentina. It lives on the eastern Andean slopes, including Bolivia, and is tied to montane forest and cloud forest, as well as Podocarpus forest. It is usually found from the middle storeys up into the canopy. The species was once placed with the Andean Pygmy Owl, but is now treated as separate and has no recognised subspecies. It was described by König in 1991.
