The Zitting Cisticola, also known as the Fan-tailed Warbler, is a small, insectivorous bird found in grasslands, marshes, and agricultural areas across Europe, Africa, and Asia. It is known for its distinctive song, a high-pitched and rapid series of zitting calls. This species is highly adaptable and can be found in a variety of open habitats, often perching on tall grasses or reeds. The Zitting Cisticola has a brownish upper body with streaks, a buff-colored throat, and a pale belly. It is a small bird, measuring around 10-11 centimeters in length.
