About this tour
Join a focused search for Short-eared Owls at one of several locations currently used by the species near Saskatoon. The guide selects the route according to recent activity, with a return driving distance of up to 150 kilometres.
Photography and observation take place from public roads, using the participant’s own or rented vehicle. Morning and evening sessions may provide warm directional light, while an afternoon departure offers another flexible option.
Each session lasts two to three hours and is private for a party of up to three. Owl presence, behaviour and photographic conditions vary, so no particular encounter can be guaranteed.
