About this tour
Travel privately from Neiva into southern Huila for an immersive birding and nature experience centred on El Encanto Nature Reserve. Forest trails, bird feeders, hides and observation points create opportunities to watch hummingbirds, motmots, antpittas and many other Andean species in a region with more than 300 recorded birds.
The programme also includes a hummingbird experience at La Drymophila Nature Reserve, an orchid tour, organic coffee tasting and local food. Two nights of accommodation, private transport, bird and orchid guiding, medical assistance and photographic documentation are included.

Itinerary
Day 1
Neiva to southern Huila
Meet for private pickup in Neiva and travel south through Huila. Settle into local accommodation and begin the nature programme with introductory birding according to arrival time.
Day 2
El Encanto Nature Reserve
Spend the day on forest trails and at bird feeders, hides and observation points. Focus on hummingbirds and other Andean birds, with local food and photographic opportunities included.
Day 3
Hummingbirds, orchids and coffee
Continue with a hummingbird experience, orchid interpretation and organic coffee tasting before the private return transfer toward Neiva.
