Explore Kolga Bay from the water on a small-group safari designed for seabird watchers, wildlife photographers and nature travelers. The boat leaves Kaberneeme harbour, around half an hour from Tallinn, and moves among northern Estonia’s coastal waters and islets with a guide experienced in marine nature and wildlife observation.
Seabirds share the route with Grey Seals, making this a mixed marine-wildlife experience with a clear birdwatching component. The exact course depends on wind, sea conditions and current wildlife activity. Seal encounters are frequent according to the operator, but neither seals nor particular bird species can be guaranteed in a wild setting.
The outing lasts approximately four hours and normally runs from May to October, subject to safe weather and sea conditions. The purpose-built observation boat carries up to five guests, with a usual minimum of three participants or an equivalent minimum booking arrangement. Transfers from Tallinn are included in the published program. Guests should expect spray, changing coastal weather and the possibility of getting mildly wet or dusty, and should follow all instructions from the skipper and guide.

Day 1
Kolga Bay seal and seabird safari
Travel from Tallinn to Kaberneeme and meet the marine guide and skipper for a safety briefing. Spend approximately four hours exploring suitable waters and islets for seabirds and Grey Seals, with the route adjusted to conditions. Return to the harbour and continue back toward Tallinn.
