About this tour
Explore a broad cross-section of The Gambia with Dallu Barry on a private route designed for both birdwatching and photography. The journey begins on the Atlantic coast, where forest, wetland and reserve visits create opportunities to work through a varied mix of resident and seasonal birds.
The route then turns inland to Kuntaur for savannah and riverine birding, including a boat excursion on the River Gambia. The final field section is based at Tendaba, with woodland, wetland and mangrove exploration and a boat journey through the creeks.
Private transport, guiding and full-board accommodation are included in the published programme. Field timing and stops can be adjusted around current bird activity and the group’s photographic priorities.
