Journey approximately 300 kilometres up-river to Janjanbureh, historically known as Georgetown, on a private multi-day safari with Yanks Manneh.
The partner programme describes travel along the north bank with stops at Baobolong Wetland, Kau-ur Wetland and Wassu Quarry, an overnight camp stay, and a boat trip after breakfast before returning along the south bank. The nearby Wassu stone circles can also be considered when time allows.
