Birding and wildlife photography journeys in Madagascar
Tanalahorizon is a family-run Madagascar tour operator whose travel program began in 1995. The team combines local guiding and trip coordination with photography instruction and wildlife expertise. Its specialist birding journeys include Birds & Lemurs, a circuit through western dry forest and eastern rainforest, and Endemic Birds, which links the southwest, southern highlands and eastern forests. Both programs emphasize small groups and time for observation and photography. Thorsten Negro is a tour leader and photography instructor, while the Madagascar team provides guiding, driving and field support.
