This week-long Jamaica birding itinerary is Arrowhead Birding Tours' main offering and the standard format for birders who want strong chances at all Jamaican endemics. The route combines dry forest, high mountain forest and eastern rainforest habitats so the trip can build a broad species list while revisiting key areas for difficult targets.

The tour normally starts around Kingston and the dry forests of Hellshire Hills, with attention to Caribbean specialties such as Bahama Mockingbird and Stolid Flycatcher. The next section focuses on the Blue Mountains, including cooler highland forest where Jamaican Blackbird, Crested Quail-Dove, Blue Mountain Vireo and Arrowhead Warbler are priority birds. The eastern rainforest and Portland area add chances for Black-billed Streamertail, Yellow-billed Parrot, Black-billed Parrot and Jamaican Crow before the final night back in Kingston.
