About this tour

Alcedo Wildlife creates customized birdwatching experiences for guests who want local support, family-friendly flexibility or a route designed around specific target birds.

Programs can be arranged in Lithuania or Bulgaria and may run from a focused three-hour outing to a week-long journey. Share your target-species list and available dates so the most suitable local route can be prepared.

Local guiding and airport transfers from Lithuania’s main airports or Riga International Airport can be arranged. Equipment and practical logistics can also be discussed before the trip.

Dogs are welcome on suitable customized programs, subject to the selected route and final arrangements.

  • Local birding guide - Guiding is charged at the published hourly rate.
  • Customized route planning - The route is built around the guest’s target species and available time.
  • Airport transfer arrangement - Transfers from Lithuania’s main airports or Riga International Airport can be arranged.

Not included

  • Fuel expenses - Fuel is charged in addition to the published hourly guiding rate.
  • Flights and personal expenses - Not included unless specifically added to the final itinerary.

Policies & FAQ

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation is available within 24 hours of booking or up to 30 days before the tour start for a full refund. Unsafe weather may require a change or cancellation and a full refund.

Payment Terms

Published guiding rate: EUR 25 per hour plus fuel expenses. Longer program costs are quoted for the selected route.

Insurance & Safety

Guests should arrange suitable personal travel and activity insurance.
Routes and activities may change for weather, water, access and bird activity. Follow the guide’s instructions and bring clothing and footwear suitable for current conditions.
