About this tour
This four-hour private field session gives photographers more time to observe behaviour, refine position and work with changing light in the Rio Lagartos area. William Canto combines local biological knowledge with bird and nature photography experience, keeping the pace responsive to both wildlife and the guest’s priorities.
Mangrove channels, coastal wetland edges and nearby Yucatan habitat can bring American Flamingo, Clapper Rail, Mexican Sheartail, Yucatan Wren and Yucatan Nightjar into the search. Herons, egrets, shorebirds and further restricted-range species add possibilities, but tide, season and natural activity decide what can be photographed.
The confirmed starting price is MXN 2,500 for one to six guests. Private birding and photography guidance and route planning around conditions are included. Travel to Rio Lagartos, meals, personal spending, extra time and local fees remain excluded unless the final proposal says otherwise.

Day 1
Four hours for birds, light and patient observation
Meet William at the confirmed Rio Lagartos waterfront point and use an extended private session for birdwatching and photography. Select estuary, mangrove, wetland or nearby Yucatan habitat according to the target priorities, tide, light and current activity.
