About this tour

This flexible Rolling Hills safari is for birders who want to explore beyond a single coastal outing. There is no compulsory circuit: the operator designs each proposal around the traveller’s available days, target list, preferred habitats and photography or listing priorities.


A route may connect Walvis Bay’s wetlands with northern river systems, Etosha savannahs, Damaraland and other arid landscapes. That breadth supports very different searches, from coastal species and desert endemics to raptors and birds associated with dry riverbeds. Existing 14-day and 21-day concepts can be used as planning foundations, but dates, overnight sequence and daily stops remain specific to the final quotation.


Potential priorities include Herero Chat, Dune Lark, Rüppell’s Korhaan, Rüppell’s Parrot, Carp’s Tit, Gray’s Lark, Damara Tern and African Oystercatcher. The guide builds the practical route after reviewing the target list; none of these species or any particular sighting is guaranteed.

Insurance & Safety

Travel insurance is not included; choose cover appropriate to the confirmed route, activities, medical needs and cancellation exposure.

Is there a fixed route or duration?

No. The operator can start from established 14-day or 21-day concepts, but the final duration, stops and overnight plan are built for each inquiry.

Can one traveller request a safari?

The normal minimum is two guests. A solo trip may be possible if the traveller covers the agreed tour cost; the precise basis must be confirmed in writing.
