Discover local birds on an accessible two-hour walk led by Kelvin Klaassen of Natuur met Kelvin. The experience is designed for families, groups of friends and teams, including people who are completely new to birdwatching. Kelvin adjusts the pace and level of explanation to the group, so experienced birdwatchers and first-time participants can share the same outing.
The meeting area is chosen together within about 50 kilometres of Nijmegen. It may be a nearby nature area or another place that matters to the group. Rather than following one fixed route, the walk responds to the selected location, season and the birds active on the day. Spring may bring more birdsong, while winter offers different visiting species and open views.
Four loan binoculars and a high-quality spotting scope are available and included in the group price. Kelvin uses the equipment to help participants find birds, notice field marks and listen more closely to the landscape. The standard format is for six to fifteen people, with smaller or larger groups considered on request. The starting price is EUR 220 per group including VAT. Travel beyond 30 kilometres carries a EUR 0.23 per-kilometre charge.

Day 1
Tailored birdwatching walk
Meet Kelvin at the agreed location for a two-hour guided walk. The outing begins with a short introduction to using binoculars and noticing bird calls, movement and field marks, then continues at a pace suited to the group.
Kelvin adapts the route and explanations to the participants, with observation stops chosen around the birds and conditions present that day. Loan binoculars and a spotting scope are available throughout the walk.
