Mukungwa River offers a productive private birding walk close to northern Rwanda's Twin Lakes and Musanze area. Roger designs the morning around riverine vegetation, waterbirds and action shots for bird photographers.

Start around 6:00 AM to catch birds when activity is highest. Walk riverbank and gallery vegetation habitat looking for coucals, weavers, African Pied Wagtail, Giant Kingfisher and other river-associated species.
