About this tour
Fourteen days allow a broad private survey of The Gambia without compressing the coast and inland regions into a short circuit. In the west, JJ can work gallery forest, lagoons and other coastal habitats before the journey turns toward riverine and drier country.
Published areas extend through Tendaba and Kiang West, the river-island surroundings of Janjanbureh, and the quarry, freshwater and savannah habitats toward Bansang and Basse. The season, access and guest priorities decide which sites form the final sequence. The tour remains price on request.
