Meet the guide in Entebbe and transfer to the accommodation. Depending on arrival time, visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre or bird around the lakeshore for weavers, kingfishers, sunbirds and other Entebbe species.

Spend the day birding the Botanical Gardens for Great Blue and Ross’s Turacos, cuckoos, widowbirds, kingfishers, woodpeckers, bishops and sunbirds, with a picnic lunch in the gardens.

Day 3
Mabamba Wetland Shoebill excursion
Road transfer and canoe birding in papyrus channels

Travel to Mabamba Wetland and explore the papyrus channels by canoe, looking for Shoebill, Papyrus Gonolek, White-winged Swamp Warbler, jacanas, gallinules, herons, egrets and other wetland birds before returning to Entebbe.
