Baldpate Mountain Evening Bird Walk
A two-hour guided birdwatching walk with Lindsay McNamara at Baldpate Mountain, welcoming beginner birders.
About this tour
Spend a late afternoon birdwatching at Baldpate Mountain with Lindsay McNamara. The November Birds of Baldpate walk is offered with Friends of Hopewell Valley Open Space and runs from 3 to 5 pm. Its friendly, beginner-oriented format gives participants a chance to explore bird identification while sharing an outdoor experience with others.
Lindsay’s guiding style leaves room to slow down and concentrate on the birds that appear, rather than rushing from sighting to sighting. Questions are welcome, and experienced birders can join alongside newcomers. Her broader public-walk program provides loan binoculars and a spotting scope; bring your own binoculars if you prefer.
The outing is based at Baldpate Mountain in Titusville, New Jersey. Wear footwear suitable for walking outdoors, choose layers for the weather and bring drinking water. This is an observational walk, so a particular species or sighting cannot be promised. Use the BirdWatch inquiry form to arrange the walk, discuss suitability and obtain the meeting arrangements.
