About this tour

Explore Zambia’s characteristic miombo woodlands and the wet dambos and Mushitu forest embedded within them. The opening two nights use Ibis Gardens as a base for farmland and woodland birding before the route continues north to the large North Swaka Forest Reserve near the DRC border.

Field sessions seek habitat specialists in forest, moist grassland and along the Lunsemfwa River, with broader wildlife possible along the way. The self fly-in program is designed for four to eight guests and runs for six nights. Current dates, price and full logistics are confirmed after inquiry.
