3-Day Harare Miombo Woodlands Bird Safari
A compact three-day Zimbabwe birding program covering Christon Bank miombo, Harare vleis, Marondera wetlands and Gosho Park.
About this tour
Use Harare as the base for a focused introduction to Zimbabwe’s miombo woodland, vleis and productive roadside and wetland habitats. The opening afternoon visits the granite outcrops and woodland of Christon Bank, followed by early-morning searches around Marlborough and other vleis.
The final part of the route continues toward Marondera, adding wetland stops, flowering grassland and Gosho Park for another set of miombo specialists. This three-day, two-night program is designed for four to eight guests. Current dates, price, accommodation and final inclusions are confirmed after inquiry.

After a light lunch, explore granite outcrops and miombo woodland for tits, starlings, barbets, pipits, honeybirds and flycatchers.
Start early for crakes, flufftails, quails, longclaws, cisticolas and migrant raptors in moist grassland and wetland habitat.
Revisit wetland targets, then bird flowering roadside habitat and Gosho Park for sunbirds, waxbills and miombo specialists.
