6-Night African Pitta Bird Safari in Mana Pools
A six-night Mana Pools safari focused on the elusive African Pitta, guided field exploration and the wildlife of northern Zimbabwe.
About this tour
Search for one of Africa’s most colourful and elusive birds in the wilderness of Mana Pools National Park. The program is based at Kavinga Safari Camp and combines specialist birding with guided walks, game drives and time around the camp’s waterhole-level hide.
The African Pitta uses dense thickets shared with the large mammals of Mana Pools, making the search part of a wider wilderness experience. This self fly-in safari is designed for four to eight guests and runs for six nights. Current dates, price, flights and final inclusions are confirmed after inquiry.
