Full-Day Cairns and Port Douglas Bird Photography Tour
Plan a private full day of bird photography for one to three guests at selected Cairns, Port Douglas and Wet Tropics sites.
About this tour
This private outing is built around making photographs rather than covering a predetermined birding circuit. Doug selects locations in the Cairns, Port Douglas and wider Wet Tropics area by matching the requested species with current activity, habitat and useful light.
One to three photographers can join. Field guidance is available to newer photographers, while experienced guests can draw on Doug’s knowledge of local bird sites. The day generally starts between 06:30 and 07:00 and finishes between 16:30 and 17:00, with an opportunity to purchase lunch.
