Aberdare Cisticola, Cisticola aberdare, is a bird of the family Cisticolidae that breeds in Kenya. It is confined to Kenya and lives in subtropical or tropical high-elevation grassland. First described by Lynes in 1930, it is a large, stocky cisticola with a heavy bill, a plain face, strongly striped upperparts and a medium-long graduated tail. It is threatened by habitat loss. Its breeding season runs from January to May and again from August to November, and it makes a nest from a flimsy ball of branches and leaves.
