Arctic Warbler

The Arctic Warbler is a small, insectivorous bird found in the boreal forests of northern Europe and Asia. It has a plain olive-green upperparts and pale underparts with a faint yellow wash. The species is known for its distinctive, monotonous song that is often heard in the breeding season. Arctic Warblers breed in dense, damp coniferous forests and can be found in a variety of habitats during migration and wintering, including mixed woodlands and scrub. They are adept at foraging for insects in the foliage and are often observed flitting through the branches in search of prey. The Arctic Warbler is not currently considered at risk and is classified as Least Concern by the IUCN.
