Bucerotidae — Hornbills

Austen's Brown Hornbill, Anorrhinus austeni, is a hornbill of forests in the Oriental Region, from Assam to south-west China and Indochina. It is mainly associated with dense evergreen woodland in lowlands and foothills, and it is also recorded in deciduous forest less often. The bird is notable for its dark brown upper body, paler underparts, and the white-tipped tail and wings. Females and males differ in the colour of the bill and casque, and the young resemble adult males.
