Aztec Thrush, Ridgwayia pinicola, is a thrush of montane forests in western Mexico, where it breeds in the mountains of Middle America. It is mainly associated with pine and pine-oak ravines at 1,800–3,500 m above sea level. The species is also a vagrant in the south-western United States, with records from western Texas to south-eastern Arizona. It is usually seen in small groups and may join mixed foraging flocks. Its breeding season in the south of its range runs from May to June.
