The Black-backed Oriole is known for its melodious and varied songs, often heard during the breeding season. This bird primarily feeds on insects, fruits, and nectar, using its slender bill to extract food from flowers and foliage. While not currently assessed by the IUCN, the Black-backed Oriole may face threats from habitat loss and fragmentation.
