About this tour

Discover a birdwatching experience in Viñales Valley, one of Cuba's most iconic landscapes, with personalized guidance adapted to beginners, photographers and experienced birders.


The outing focuses on the mogotes, pine forests and tobacco valleys around Viñales, with targets such as Cuban Trogon, Cuban Tody, Cuban Green Woodpecker, Cuban Grassquit, Cuban Solitaire, Olive-capped Warbler, Cuban Pygmy Owl and Cuban Oriole.


The experience can also include environmental and cultural interpretation, including the karst landscape, local ecosystems and an optional visit to a tobacco farm.


Half-day sessions usually run from 6:45 am to 12:00. Full-day sessions can continue until about 6:00 or 7:00 pm. Local or national transportation, meals, rooms and purified water are arranged separately in advance when requested.
