Chlorophoneus nigrifrons (Reichenow, 1896)

Black-fronted Bushshrike, Chlorophoneus nigrifrons, is a bird of the bushshrike family found in eastern Africa, where it lives in forests, especially montane forest in many places. It has a patchy range and is linked with the canopy and middle storeys of woodland. The species shows several colour forms, but all have green upperparts, a grey crown and upper back, a yellow tail tip, and a dark bill and legs. It is also known to duet in pairs, and its song includes repeated bell-like phrases.
