Blue-headed Pitta, Hydrornis baudii, is a bird of the pitta family found in Borneo. It is confined to the island, with records from Brunei, Kalimantan, Sarawak and Sabah. Its natural home is tropical lowland evergreen forest, and it is most often seen in primary forest, though it also occurs in altered and secondary woodland. Breeding is thought to take place seasonally, with nests found from May to October and birds in breeding condition from March to June. The nest is a domed structure of leaves with a side opening close to the ground, and one examined nest held two eggs.
