Bolivian Blackbird, Oreopsar bolivianus, is a passerine found in South America, breeding in Bolivia. It was described by Sclater, WL, 1939, and is the only species in its genus. Adults of both sexes are almost wholly black, with little sheen, while the flight feathers are sepia-brown and stand out in flight. The bill is grey and slightly downcurved. It lives on the eastern side of the Andes, especially in dry valleys with tall columnar cactus, and also in open woodland, scrub and irrigated farmland, usually close to cliffs used for nesting.
