Bolivian Recurvebill, Syndactyla striata, is a passerine of the Furnariidae that lives in western and central Bolivia, with its breeding range also reaching far southeastern Peru. It is a year-round resident of humid foothill and lower montane forest, especially where Guadua bamboo is common or abundant. This bird has a heavy, wedge-shaped bill that turns slightly upwards, and the sexes look alike. It was once placed in Simoxenops, but is now treated as part of Syndactyla. It is the only member of its kind.
