Buller's Shearwater

Buller's Shearwater is a medium-sized seabird that belongs to the Procellariidae family. It is primarily found in the southern Pacific Ocean, breeding on islands off the coast of New Zealand. This species is known for its impressive long-distance migrations, traveling as far as the North Pacific during the non-breeding season. Buller's Shearwater has a distinctive dark plumage with a white underbelly and a hooked bill, which it uses to catch fish and squid. It is a skilled flier, using dynamic soaring and gliding techniques to cover vast distances over the open ocean.
