Bush Blackcap, Sylvia nigricapillus, is a bird of South Africa, where it is endemic, and it also occurs in Eswatini. It belongs to the family Sylviidae and is placed in the order Passeriformes. Its breeding range is Africa: South Africa. It is associated with subtropical or tropical moist montane forests and with subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland. A notable feature of its status is that it is affected by habitat loss.
