The Collared Falconet is a small bird of prey found in Southeast Asia. It is known for its distinctive black and white plumage, with a striking black collar around its neck. This species is often found in open woodlands, forest edges, and hilly areas, where it preys on small birds and insects. The Collared Falconet is a highly agile and acrobatic flyer, often seen darting through the trees in pursuit of its prey. Despite its small size, it is a fierce and efficient hunter, using its speed and maneuverability to catch its quarry. This species is not currently considered to be at risk, with a stable population and a wide distribution across its range.
